OTHERLANDS


Otherlands is an audiovisual abstract film work, exploring climate change, landscape and the impact of the Anthropocene from a post-human artificial intelligence viewpoint. The music and sound design is created using sonification techniques by which the data from climate change: Annual temperature rise, CO2 increase, increased land ice melting and sea rising data are being used as the notes on a scales and sources of sound design. Visual material includes particle animation, montage and Nasa footage. Initially performed at The 360 gallery in Krakow at Patchlab 2019 with 10 projectors, 16K pixels width. It is an "expanded cinema" project and will be developed as a longer form live cinema work in other locations. Please get in touch for enquiries about the live project.
